About Aviator Xpro
What is Aviator® Xpro® Foliar Fungicide
Aviator Xpro is a protective and curative fungicide that offers an excellent level of disease control in canola where it controls the two key diseases blackleg and sclerotinia. Aviator Xpro also offers disease control across cereal crops (Wheat and Barley) and pulse crops (Chickpeas, Lentils, Field peas and Faba beans).
Aviator Xpro brings together bixafen, the first registered foliar fungicide in canola from the Succinate Dehydrogenase Inhibitor mode of action group (Group 7 – SDHI), with the proven performance of prothioconazole (Group 3 – 3rd generation triazole).
The combination of prothioconazole with bixafen leads to an improved l;evel of disease control due to the supplementary effect of combining a systemic molecule with excellent residual activity (long lasting effect) and a fungicide, that exhibits distinct curative properties (fast acting effect).
Both molecules support and complement one another in their effects. Bixafen is the compound with a pronounced initial effect, whereas prothioconazole is responsible for the long duration of activity.
Aviator Xpro offers flexible application timing, enabling targeted application to effectively manage specific diseases at the most appropriate development stage.

Aviator Xpro with two modes of action for blackleg control in canola
Don’t just rely on the genetic blackleg resistance of your variety. Protect it this season and into the future by using Aviator Xpro as a foliar application between 2 leaf – green bud. The application of a robust 2 spray program of Aviator Xpro recorded increases in oil and yield, which resulted in a positive $ return on investment across a wide variety of blackleg resistance groups.
Variety resistance based on GRDC blackleg management guide Spring 2016. NA07 results based on single replicate only. VD07 results based on multiple replicates.
Aviator Xpro Sclerotinia trial data
Aviator Xpro recorded excellent disease control in this trial on moderate disease levels. Using the maximum Aviator Xpro label rate of 800 mL/ha at the 25% flowering timing increased residual disease control and allowed the crop to achieve its yield potential and a positive return on investment.
